I studied fine art at University of Utah and Weber State.

I have a degree in Graphic Design and Multi Media from

Salt Lake Community College.

The first time I painted in oil, I immediately connected with it.

The smell of the linseed oil, the texture of the paint,

the vibrancy of the colors one can only get with oil.

Painting is an essential component in

my life and it brings me lots of happiness.

My landscape and still life paintings

are painted on location "en plein air" and not from photos.

What I love about my paintings is the brush work because

it gives my work rhythm and movement.

I also put a lot of emphasis on form and texture.

I love to put a sense of atmosphere in my paintings and that is what

makes my paintings unique.
