Kory “Sunday” Gardner was born in 1985 with an old soul that he borrowed from the 50’s.  His first word wasn't mom or dad, it was “car”.

He lived in Germany for the first 5 years of his life and had a deep understanding of the vast size of the world, the existence of oceans and countries, and how important our military is when he started school. But all his kindergarten teacher could worry about was his ability to cut with scissors!

At the age of 4, Kory drew a space shuttle on a launch pad with such accurate detail you would think a skilled adult had drawn it.  At the age of 5, he corrected his mother while she tried to draw a school bus, informing her that the rear wheel lug-nut pattern was indeed different from the front wheel.  Kory even graced his parent’s house with his artwork by drawing on the walls of every room in the house and writing his name on the carpet.

Kory grew up experimenting with many forms of art and enjoys drawing, oil painting, flash art with water colors, wire sculpting, pin-striping, and scratch-board drawing.

Currently Kory has owned, fixed-up, sold, and generally played with 11 different vehicles in the short 8 years of his driving career.  His latest projects are a 1963 Mercury Monteray, a 1964 Oldsmobile Cutlass, and a 1983 BMW 320-I.

You will see the influence of Kory’s “old soul” Rock-a-Billy style and his love of old cars in his artwork.  Kory also has a love of tattoo artwork and the Flash style of drawing and painting.

For almost a year now, Kory has been able to dedicate himself full-time to his artwork through the support of his mother and grandparents.  Unfortunately Kory’s father passed away nearly 4 years ago, but his love of life, cars, and art are still a positive influence in Kory’s life and work.
