"Telling Stories" is a unique art show that involves both community artists and local Utah artists. Berry directed a workshop called "Transforming Junk," wherein the artists explored their psychological states while creating shadow boxes from antique toys and scrap materials. The artists incorporated object association conceptual methods not unlike what artists during the Dada movement used. These community artists graciously donated their artwork to the art show, in hopes of raising money for Rising Star Outreach, an organization that strives to improve the lives of individuals suffering from leprosy in India. Over thirty volunteers contributed to this chartiable art show. Although we have raised $800, our goal of $1,000 has not yet been met. "Telling Stories" will be on display until January 19, 2008. Please drop by and support this cause.
